Case Study: How a UK Home Theater Seating Brand Ordered 12,000+ Seats in Nine Months

A UK-market home theater seating brand needed a supplier who could meet two requirements at the same time: fabrics tested to British (BS) flame-retardant standards, and a fast replenishment rhythm — orders placed in small, frequent batches instead of one large container a year.

The Brief

Every fabric in this program had to pass UK flame-retardant (BS) testing before it could be shipped, and the customer wanted to grow the line in small, frequent orders rather than commit to a full container each year.

What We Did

FR-compliant fabrics from day one. Every fabric in this program — grey tech cloth FRS-01, beige MC2411-3, natural MC2411-1, grey MC2411-2, and dark grey tech cloth CCZ-01 with black PU piping — was ordered and delivered against UK FR (BS) test standards.

A delivery rhythm the customer could plan around. Across the orders with complete delivery records, the median order-to-delivery time was 36 days, and 11 of 14 orders shipped within 45 days.

One platform, many configurations. The program runs on our 8487 / 8562 / 8486 home theater seating series — 1-seat, 2-seat and 3-seat units, power-recline variants and lay-flat configurations — so the customer can keep expanding the line without changing suppliers.

The Result

The first order was placed in November 2025. Over the next nine months the customer placed 110 purchase orders totaling more than 12,000 seats, averaging around 111 seats per order — and was still ordering as of August 2026.
